Lyons Academy of Irish Dance : class schedule

General Information

Beginners

Beginner dancers ages 4 and up, as well as adult beginners, are welcome to join a class at any point during the year. Parents and potential dancers may observe a class and even participate for free before committing.

A pre-beginner class option is available for 4-5 year olds based on parents' and teacher's discretion. This is a fully integrated class with all of the other beginners, but it is a shorter class focusing on warm-ups, floor exercises,  dance basics, and classroom etiquette; perfect for kids who are in pre-school or just beginning Kindergarten.

Intermediate/Advanced Dancers

Dancers at this level typically compete and perform anywhere from 5-10 times per year on a completely voluntary basis.  Most of these dancers heighten their abilities through attending 2-3 classes per week and as many competitions and performances as they would like.

Class Fees

• Pre-beginner, 1 class per week: $50/month (45 minutes)
• Beginner/Adult, 1 class per week- $60/month (60 minutes)

*Discounts are given for multiple children within a family, or one dancer attending multiple classes per week. For a more detailed fee description, contact Meredith directly.

An annual registration fee of $40 is also due with the first month's class fees.
